At Cailabs, we develop cutting-edge optical communication solutions. We are looking for a Lawyer to bring key expertise in business law and intellectual property, contributing to the protection of our innovative projects. 

As part of strengthening the legal team within the Finance and Legal Department, you will work closely with the Legal Manager, handling specific cases assigned to you. 

 

Your Main Responsibilities: 

  • Negotiate and draft key contracts such as commercial agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and partnership agreements, ensuring the protection of intellectual property in these documents.
  • Assist project teams in preparing responses to tenders and executing strategic contracts.
  • Coordinate the management of legal cases with specialized lawyers and ensure rigorous follow-ups through regular reporting.
  • Contribute to the optimization and adaptation of internal legal processes to meet the company's needs.
  • Conduct legal training sessions to raise awareness and enhance team knowledge of everyday legal matters.
  • Ensure the proper archiving and monitoring of legal documents while fostering a legal culture within the company. 

Profile required

  • A Master's degree (M2) in Business Law, ideally complemented by a specialization in Intellectual Property.
  • At least 5 years of experience, including 3 years in an industrial environment, with expertise in handling complex legal cases.
  • Proficiency in contract drafting techniques and a thorough understanding of intellectual property processes.
  • Recognized for your rigor, organizational skills, and ability to work independently on ambitious projects.
  • Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A curious mindset with a passion for innovative, fast-growing environments that demand adaptability. 
  • Fluency in French and English is required for this position . 

The position is based in Rennes.
