As part of the Technical Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of subsystems for our optical ground stations, from prototype design to industrialization.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the systems and subsystems that make up the optical ground stations, meeting client requirements, and establishing specifications in collaboration with Systems Engineers.
  • Conducting studies and modifications during the design, development, and pre-production phases of the product.
  • Seeking and proposing alternative solutions to solve identified problems and optimize product performance.
  • Monitoring validations during the various product development phases, aiming for production.
  • Creating a detailed project schedule for the development and pre-production phases.
  • Preparing and leading progress reviews.
  • Maintaining ongoing technical and technological monitoring.

Profile required

With an engineering degree (in optics, mechatronics, etc.), you have 7-8 years of experience in the technical development of complex products or systems in the industry sector, and you are proficient in all stages from prototyping to industrialization.

You are recognized for:

  • Your adaptability and openness.
  • Your ability to work autonomously and in a team, and to be proactive.
  • Your passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Your thoroughness and ability to synthesize information.
  • Your written and oral communication skills, allowing you to interact with teams in both French and English.
  • You are comfortable in evolving or growing environments, like startups.

Bonus points : 

  • Experience in the development of optoelectronic products, special machinery, or scientific instrumentation including optical components is a significant asset.
  • Knowledge of physics or free-space optics.
