As a Methods Technician, reporting to the Methods Manager and working in an R&D and multidisciplinary environment, your role will be to analyze, design, and optimize production processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the creation and updating of procedures for production teams, in collaboration with the Development department and Operational teams.
- Assisting in the creation of product codes / BOM in our ERP, and regularly maintaining the product database.
- Developing tooling for production lines using CAD and monitoring their execution.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential skills
You have a BAC +2 degree with a mechanical/optical component and 2 to 5 years of experience in a methods role in an industrial mechanical environment.
- You have skills in reading mechanical plans and diagrams.
- You are recognized for your interpersonal skills and curiosity.
- You have strong analytical and writing skills.
- You are meticulous.
- You are proactive and have good time management and organizational skills.
- You have experience using an ERP system.
Plus points:
- Knowledge of optics.
- Computer proficiency (Office suite).
- CAD (SolidWorks).
- ERP (Open Prod).
- English.
