Do you want to apply your technical skills to drive innovation in optical laser communication?
Join our team as an Application Engineer and contribute to the design of pre-sales tools and demonstrations to showcase our products to international clients.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Pre-sales tools:
    o Develop and maintain a simulation tool for optical ground station deployment scenarios
    o Develop online link budget calculators
    o Develop online demonstrations of optical ground station control software

  • Client demonstrations:
    o Organize and conduct demonstrations of optical links, turbulence emulation, etc., for prospects
    o Lead the deployment of demonstrations outside of Cailabs' headquarters, such as for the US offices
    o Proactively propose new client demonstrations

  • Support for product and sales teams:
    o Provide technical support during sales phases
    o Contribute to the development of the TILBA product roadmap
    o Develop technical marketing content related to the technological capabilities of TILBA products
    o Develop the customer feedback process to inform the product roadmap

Profile required

With an engineering degree specializing in optics, you have at least 3 years of experience in a client support role (pre-sales, project management, and post-sales) in a high-tech field.

You are proficient in Python and Git, and capable of performing data analysis and visualization. You are a strong communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Your English proficiency is fluent.

The position is based in Rennes, with travel required.
