Internship description

Laser communications are the next generation of secure, high-speed space communications.

Dedicated to optical communications in free space, the TILBA solution improves the reliability of satellite, naval, aeronautical (aircraft, drones) and terrestrial links.

The internship project aims to facilitate the development and maintenance phases of the TILBA-OGS optical ground stations developed by Cailabs.

You will be working in the Electronics Division, reporting to a member of the Software team.

Your work will benefit all the teams working on the TILBA-OGS project.

Your objective will be to design a common interfacing tool for the various subsystems equipping the TILBA-OGS station. To do this, you will have to define a software interface (API) at sub-system level that meets user requirements, and develop a graphical interface using this API.

You will have the opportunity to use and improve your knowledge of software development, and you will learn to work as part of a company team on practical issues.

Profile required

Key skills :

• Object-oriented development skills (Python)
• Experience in creating graphical user interfaces (Qt/web)
• Knowledge of software development tools (git, VSCode, PyCharm)
