Job description
As a Ground Station Installation Project Manager, participate in the deployment of high-tech space communication equipment. Are you looking to join a committed team in a growing activity context? Do you want to contribute to revolutionize the world of space communication?

Directly reporting to the Director of Operations, your mission is to oversee the on-site deployment of optical ground stations designed by Cailabs, within a multidisciplinary project team. This includes the following tasks:
Deployment & Installation of Equipment :
- Prepare the preliminary phase of the installation (user documentation, risk identification, and associated action plan) and manage the logistics related to the deployment of ground stations in coordination with support teams and clients (transport, customs, equipment, specific installation...)
- Participate in the installation of optical ground stations on-site at our clients' locations in various environments (mountain, hot or cold desert...) and for durations that can last up to several weeks.
- Contribute to the assembly of subsystems up to commissioning and the OSAT (on-site acceptance test), in close connection with the project technical team.
- Train clients and operators on-site.
- Contribute to the development of the installation activity within the company. This position is indeed evolving.
Operational Maintenance and After-Sales Service :
- Organize and participate in preventive maintenance and the After-Sales Service of deployed ground stations.
- Manage maintenance contracts, their renewal, as well as interventions such as replacements, improvements, etc.
Essential skills
- You have a successful experience of large-scale deployments of industrial systems in various or atypical environments.
- You have an engineering degree.
- You have demonstrated through your experiences autonomy and pugnacity which will be as many assets to allow you to solve problems potentially at the other end of the Earth.
- You are known for being rigorous and structured.
- You have good interpersonal skills and are focused on customer satisfaction.
- Your English is fluent.
