Job description

As a cable fitter, you will realize the production of our new ground stations.

You will participate in the setup of our new workshop, where you will play a key role in assembling cutting-edge solutions for the space and defense sectors.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Performing wiring of electrical cabinets according to the provided schematics;
  • Soldering cables according to the provided schematics;
  • Mechanically integrating electronic components based on the provided assembly plans;
  • Testing subassemblies and finished products according to the procedure;
  • Inspecting your work and adhering to safety regulations;
  • Logging manufacturing orders (MO) and associated consumptions;
  • Keeping your workspace organized;
  • Communicating any necessary corrections to production documents (plan, schematic, procedure);

Possibly, performing optical soldering (internal training provided).

Essential skills

With a vocational diploma in electrotechnics and a minimum of 3 years of experience, you:

  • Know how to read and understand a wiring diagram, an assembly plan, and a procedure;
  • Know how to solder cables, connectors, and use mechanical assembly tools;
  • Are proficient in the use of multimeters;
  • Have a safety- and quality-oriented mindset.

You are recognized for:

  • Your attention to detail, organization, and precision;
  • Your sense of teamwork.

Potential travel may be required for the installation of stations.

Advantages:

  • You know how to perform optical soldering, and are able to use a miter saw and a column drill;
  • You already hold your electrical certification.
