Internship description
You will work within the technical team under the responsibility of the Mechanical Division and in conjunction with the project teams.
The internship project aims to develop or improve the various subsystems that make up our TILBA OGS product.
As part of this internship, you will put your knowledge of system design and dimensioning into practice. The tasks involved in this internship may vary, ranging from system design and the manufacture of the first prototype to the drafting of assembly instructions to support the production teams.
The various tasks involved in the internship will be as follows:
- Working with the company's various departments (optical, electronic and methods engineers),
- Participating in system design and dimensioning,
- Producing the first prototypes using rapid prototyping (in-house) or external subcontracting,
- Assembling mechanical sub-assemblies in order to iterate on designs based on feedback from the field. Providing various technical deliverables (manufacturing files,
- design justification documentation, parts lists, assembly instructions, etc.).
Essential skills
Key point:
- Master's student or 2nd or 3rd year engineering student
- Proficiency in CAD software (preferably Solidworks) + drafting
- System dimensioning (finite element analysis, choice of materials, etc.)
- Drawing and knowledge of different methods of manufacturing parts (machining, rapid prototyping, etc.)

- Rigorous, independent, methodical.
