Post description
The CANUNDA product line features innovative laser beam shaping systems, designed to optimize laser machining processes such as welding, additive manufacturing, drilling, or surface texturing. They are intended for demanding industrial use, requiring both reliability and robustness.
The multidisciplinary CANUNDA R&D team brings together expertise in optics, mechanics, electronics, methods, and systems. It focuses on developing prototypes and products at various levels of technological maturity, from proof of concept to mass production.
By joining this team, your responsibilities will include:

Designing, assembling, and testing innovative prototypes that meet our clients’ specific needs, with an eye toward industrialization and series production.

Developing new features for the CANUNDA product line, ensuring their reliability and compatibility with industrial processes.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of these products, working closely with production teams to ensure their industrial maturity.

Installing and testing prototypes and new products at clients’ and partners’ sites, and providing technical support and follow-up throughout the product lifecycle.
Profile required
With both a theoretical and practical background in optics, you have at least three years of industrial experience. You have participated in the development and industrialization of optical systems for laser applications, ensuring their maturity and reliability throughout the production cycle.

You have worked on the design of optical systems, the setup of free-space test benches, and the analysis of experimental data.

You have experience in the industrialization of innovative optical products.

You work autonomously, able to identify problems and find solutions, sometimes under time constraints.

You can work within a multidisciplinary team (optics, mechanics, electronics, methods, systems, etc.).

You are able to communicate in both French and English, in writing and speaking, with colleagues and external partners.
Additional assets:

You have experience in managing thermal aspects with high-power lasers.

You have experience in laser machining processes.

You have strong synthesis skills.
