As the Test Bench Development Manager, your primary mission will be to coordinate the design, development, and improvement activities of test benches used for validating optical and optronic products.

You will ensure the reliability, repeatability, and compliance of tests to guarantee the quality and performance of products before they go into production or are integrated with customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Technical and cross-functional coordination of a multidisciplinary team (software, electronics, mechanics, etc.) without hierarchical links.
Gathering and analyzing the needs of development teams, production, and clients to define the technical specifications of test benches.
Designing and developing custom test benches that meet technical and operational requirements.
Providing technical supervision to ensure consistency in software, mechanical, and electronic developments, relying on a team of experts to guarantee a reliable and high-performing test ecosystem.
Validating and commissioning test benches to ensure their proper functioning for production and development activities (V&V).
Standardizing and ensuring the compatibility of test benches between development (V&V) and production phases to ensure their interoperability.
Continuously improving test benches by optimizing their performance and integrating the latest technological innovations.
Supporting and training internal teams (R&D, production) by providing technical support and ensuring skill development on the tools developed.

Essential skills

With a background in engineering, specializing in instrumentation, industrial IT, optics, or optronics, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in developing test benches in an industrial environment.

You are proficient in test and measurement systems, including cameras, spectrometers, and sensors.
Your skills in electronics, data acquisition and analysis, combined with a strong knowledge of instrument control software and commonly used protocols, enable you to design optimal test bench architectures.
With strong project management and communication skills, you excel in collaborating with various teams and completing your missions with rigor and autonomy.
You demonstrate strong technical and scientific curiosity
Proficiency in technical English is essential for this role.
