As a metrology technician, reporting to Cailabs' quality engineer, your role will be to ensure that the technical and production teams have access to functional optical and electronic measurement equipment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Calibrating and verifying measurement equipment according to a predefined plan.
  • Interacting with internal teams (technical and production) to identify items requiring repair or calibration.
  • Performing basic repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinating equipment maintenance with external service providers when necessary, including checking and validating compliance upon return.
  • Accurately recording reports and data in the tracking database.

Depending on the need, you may also be involved in manufacturing custom measurement instruments based on existing plans.

Profile required

As a Metrology Technician, you have a background in a Bac +2 program in physical measurements, metrology, ideally with a specialization in optics or electronics. You have at least 2 years of successful experience in the field, allowing you to work autonomously in organizing your activities.
