In collaboration with the Product Line Manager and the pre-sales engineer, you will influence the commercial strategy of the product range and be responsible for managing customer relationships from initial contact to order finalization.

As part of Cailabs and reporting to the Sales Department, your role will be to market our CANUNDA range (an innovative product for shaping laser beams for the industry) to potential clients and/or partners in France and internationally.

 

Your missions will include:

  • Prospecting: 

    • Identifying sales opportunities for our CANUNDA range in the following markets: Laser Power Bed Fusion (LPBF) metallic, high-power welding, and Display, in Europe and Asia. 

    • Managing/nurturing the distribution network and contributing to its development. 

    • Participating in marketing and commercial events to promote CANUNDA products, with particular attention to one or more priority markets.

  • Commercial Proposals: 

    • Understanding the needs of prospects and clients as well as the challenges of their projects (possibility of product customization). 

    • Developing your commercial proposals. Preparing relevant technical support documents with the assistance of a PLM.

  • Negotiation: 
    • Addressing additional questions while considering strategic issues for Cailabs and reassuring the client in their decision-making process. 
    • Negotiating commercial terms based on strategic issues for Cailabs.
  • Business Development: 
    • Identifying priority applications within promising markets. 
    • Identifying and validating new sales plays. 
    • Establishing strategic industrial partnerships (in relation to the PLM).
  • Additionally:
    • Providing reporting on ongoing business, sales forecasts, and the strategy to be pursued by the Sales Department. 
    • Maintaining and updating the CRM system.

Profile required

Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent, with significant experience of at least 5 years in both technical and commercial roles, you have gained a deep understanding of photonics technologies and/or high-value technical projects. 

International work experience is also appreciated. 

You are known for: 

  • Your perseverance and persuasive abilities 
  • Your strong sales temperament with a "hunter" profile 
  • Your interpersonal skills 
  • Your team spirit 

Rigorous and dynamic, you can take initiatives and organize your commercial activities autonomously. 

Thanks to your listening skills and analytical ability, you can adapt your communication to your interlocutor and propose tailored solutions. 

Proficiency in English is essential. 

 

Frequent international travel required. 

The position can be based in our Paris office or telecommuting in metropolitan France. However, since our main site is in Rennes, frequent visits there are preferred. 

 

Plus points for this position:

  • Knowledge of machining processes and/or laser-material interaction. 
  • Knowledge of the German language and market.
