As an Industrial Software Engineer, your role will be to develop, maintain, and enhance the control and monitoring software of our OGS subsystems. You will be involved in the programming of industrial automation systems (PLCs).

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of software intended for use in complex and innovative industrial environments.
  • Contributing to the design and development of industrial software using appropriate programming languages.
  • Testing and debugging developed software to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Maintaining and supporting software solutions once deployed to production.
  • Participating in the drafting of technical documentation for developed software.
  • Managing subcontracted developments and ensuring proper follow-up of outsourced activities.

Profile required

Holding a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Software Development, Industrial Computing, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent field, you have at least 5 years of experience in software development, validation, and integration, ideally within an industrial environment.

  • You have experience programming industrial PLCs, including safety systems.
  • You are comfortable with object-oriented software development, preferably in Python.
  • You are able to bridge software, electronics, and hardware, particularly during integration and commissioning phases.
  • You are proficient in English, especially for writing technical documentation and interacting in installation and deployment contexts.
  • You are rigorous, autonomous, and proactive.
  • You enjoy collaborating with a variety of technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of electrical control cabinet wiring.
  • Previous experience integrating electromechanical components.
  • Familiarity with the Beckhoff environment.
  • An interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing.
