To support the growth of our TILBA product line (optical ground stations and satellite ground communications systems, as well as high-speed free-space Line of Sight ground-to-ground communication systems), we are strengthening our commercial team to expand into new markets and ensure long-term performance.
You will play an active role in developing the Free-Space Optical Communications (FSOC) market, both in France and internationally.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, your role will be to identify opportunities, persuade stakeholders, close deals, and contribute to the strategic structuring of a differentiated technology offering.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategic Prospecting
- Identify, target, and approach new strategic and high-potential prospects (space, defense, research sectors, etc.);
- Prioritize opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals;
- Participate in marketing and commercial events (international trade shows, customer demonstrations, training sessions).
Commercial Proposals
- Independently manage complex sales cycles: from needs identification to contract negotiation;
- Craft impactful commercial proposals in close collaboration with product managers and customer project leads.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify new high-potential applications and use cases in your target markets;
- Contribute to the creation of new sales messaging and ensure product-market fit;
- Coordinate high-potential industrial or collaborative partnerships with key sector players, in collaboration with the Bid Manager.
Sales Strategy & Management
- Provide accurate reporting on ongoing deals, sales forecasts, and strategy to the Commercial Director;
- Leverage field insights to inform commercial development strategies;
- Ensure CRM data is consistently updated and of high quality.
Profile required

You have a degree from an engineering or business school and at least 5 years of experience in a B2B technical sales role, ideally in satellite telecommunications, New Space, or laser communications, with a proven track record of commercial success in one of these sectors;

You have excellent knowledge of the New Space ecosystem, its key players, decision-making chains, and funding and regulatory bodies;

You have a commercial mindset with a strong "hunter" profile;

You demonstrate persistence and strong persuasive skills;

You have excellent interpersonal skills, are a team player, autonomous, and detail-oriented;

You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-growing and rapidly evolving market;
Fluent English is essential.
Frequent international travel is required.
This position can be based in our Paris office or carried out remotely within mainland France.
However, as our main site is in Rennes, frequent visits there are preferred.
