Job description

Within the Operations department and under the supervision of the Real Estate Manager, you will be responsible for the proper management and operation of the building.

You will handle daily building management (maintenance and minor repairs, preventive maintenance) and oversee external contractors for larger maintenance tasks and repairs.

Your main responsibilities include:

Internal Management:

  • Monitor the operation of ventilation, air conditioning, hygiene, lighting, security, and electrical systems throughout the building.
  • Ensure follow-up on inspections.
  • Perform minor maintenance/repairs (e.g., furniture assembly/replacement, bulb/neon changes, small water leaks).

External Management:

  • Manage contractors for maintenance, mandatory inspections, and minor repairs, both inside and outside the building.
  • Plan and organize contractor interventions, including the development of a prevention plan.
  • Oversee mandatory maintenance contracts and follow up on interventions.
  • Prepare and monitor the financial aspects of contracts, recurring orders, and one-time interventions.

You will collaborate with the logistics team to supply the necessary materials for building management. In the event of a major malfunction, you may occasionally need to intervene outside of regular hours, within a defined framework.

Profile required

With a background in plumbing or electrical work, with at least a vocational diploma or professional certificate, you have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

You possess technical knowledge in:

  • Maintenance of industrial buildings

And/or in:

  • Industrial electricity
  • Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning in tertiary or industrial building

 

  • Ideally, you also have experience in administrative and financial management.
  • You are proficient in the Office Suite and have experience with CMMS tools or are eager to learn how to use them in your daily work.
  • Versatile and organized, you are recognized for your thoroughness and ability to prioritize tasks. You take the initiative to anticipate needs and actions to be taken.
  • Finally, you are a good communicator and are available to interact with internal teams as well as external contractors.
