Cailabs is looking for an IVV Engineer who is rigorous, intellectually curious beyond their core expertise, and willing to progressively broaden their scope toward a full system-level understanding of complex technologies. 

Within the R&D team, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of complex systems. Your scope will gradually extend from software toward system integration and hardware, including occasional on-site activities at customer locations. 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining verification and validation criteria, as well as test benches for components, subsystems, and system integration 
  • Follow and participate in product integration, progressively validating that developed subsystems meet specified requirements 
  • Perform testing activities and technical investigations in case of non-conformities, and propose appropriate solutions 
  • Act as a technical interface with cross-functional engineering teams 
  • Manage requirements traceability 
  • Contribute to system architecture files and various technical documentation
  • Support the development of a system engineering methodology within the R&D team 

Profile required

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, testing, or validation, on embedded systems, industrial equipment, or complex machines
  • A strong software foundation on technical products, equipment, or systems 
  • A willingness to expand beyond this scope toward system-level and hardware understanding 
  • Strong analytical skills when investigating technical issues and structuring problem-solving approaches 
  • Solid technical writing abilities 
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of technical stakeholders 
  • Operational technical English
