After gaining your first few years of experience in industry, join a dynamic team of engineers and PhDs who share your passion for applying their expertise to stimulating technical challenges. 

Working in a multi-project environment, you will interact closely with different teams, fostering a strong collaborative dynamic and providing a highly stimulating and intellectually rewarding work environment. 

You will join a cutting-edge technology company, working across the full product development cycle, from prototype development through to industrialization. 

 

Your main responsibilities 

  • Contribute to the technical definition of product developments and evolutions in response to customer needs 
  • Contribute to upstream R&D projects to prepare future product developments 
  • Improve product performance by investigating and evaluating alternative technologies 
  • Prototype, test, integrate and interface various optical subsystems 
  • Experimentally validate new optical architectures 
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with the different technical teams (optics, electronics, mechanics and software) 
  • Support the different stages of product development through to production 

Profile required

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Optics, Photonics or a related field, with at least 2 years of professional experience 
  • Strong knowledge of theoretical and experimental optics, as well as optomechanics 
  • Hands-on experience working in a laboratory environment and setting up experimental systems 
  • Proficiency in processing and analyzing experimental data, as well as interfacing measurement instruments and equipment through programming 

A plus that will make a difference 

  • Experience with simulation tools and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB or C
