Post description
As Workshop Manager, your role will be to oversee the production workshop for a segment of Cailabs’ product ranges, ensuring efficient management of activities to guarantee smooth operations.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing the team (creating and maintaining a positive environment that fosters motivation and trust, developing both individual and collective skills, promoting a culture of continuous improvement), and anticipating resource needs.

Managing the workshop to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, traceability, safety, and adherence to commitments (deadlines).

Leading and participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly processes, product quality, and traceability, and proposing corrective solutions.

Handling tasks related to work order management (creation and monitoring of manufacturing orders).

Contributing to improvements in assembly procedures and non-technical processes to enhance and strengthen organizational reliability.

Managing and developing performance indicators and the necessary reporting to drive activity and performance improvements, and preparing associated documentation.

Ensuring proper functioning of equipment, including maintenance scheduling and asset management (inventory, procurement, etc.).

Ensuring safety in manufacturing areas.

Analyzing and reporting workshop activity to the Head of Workshops.
Profile required
With a BTS-level qualification (advanced technician diploma), you have at least 3 years of significant experience in a similar role within a technical environment, where you have demonstrated strong managerial skills.
You are particularly recognized for:

- Your active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives;
- Your ability to structure information effectively;
- Your agility and ability to quickly adapt to an evolving environment;
- Your responsiveness and excellent interpersonal skills.
Assets:
- Knowledge in optics and/or electronics;
- Strong command of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
