As a Technical Data Management Technician, reporting to the Methods Manager and working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment, your role will be to administer the database of technical data and routings within the industrial documentation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Daily activities:

• Creating item codes in the database in compliance with our procedures;

• Analyzing the item database and making improvement proposals to optimize its reliability and administration;

• Administering our products and bills of materials within the ERP system, and keeping the database up to date.

Additional activities:

• Contributing to the update of routings and procedures for the Operations teams, in collaboration with service members, the Development team, and operational teams;

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile required

With a two-year degree (BAC +2) or equivalent, you have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment (in the fields of mechanics and/or electronics and/or optics).

You have experience in ERP database management;
You are recognized for your interpersonal skills, pedagogical approach, and diplomacy;
You have strong analytical and writing abilities;
You are rigorous and detail-oriented;
You are proactive, with strong time management and organizational skills;
You are comfortable with IT tools (Office suite: Excel, etc.).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in mechanics (reading mechanical drawings and schematics in SolidWorks) and/or electronics and/or optics;

• English skills: ability to handle technical documentation.
