At Cailabs, you don’t just manage projects, you help advance science and turn it into tangible solutions. You will work on demanding technological projects at the intersection of research and industry, where every achievement has a real-world impact. To support our growth and strengthen the connection between our teams and clients, we are recruiting a Customer Project Manager.

Your mission: oversee projects from start to finish, from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction across diverse applications related to optics.

As a true interface between our clients and internal teams, you will be at the heart of the relationship, ensuring alignment between client needs, developed solutions, and delivered promises.

 

Project Coordination & Management

  • Lead client projects from design to delivery: planning, milestone tracking, reporting, cost, schedule, and quality management.

  • Prioritize objectives and ensure technical and commercial consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Identify and manage risks, anticipate potential bottlenecks, and ensure project profitability.

Pre-sales & Client Relationship

  • Understand client needs and propose appropriate solutions in collaboration with technical and commercial teams.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the client throughout the project, maintaining transparency, clarity, and a focus on client satisfaction.

Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure smooth communication among all stakeholders: clients/partners, product managers, internal project managers, technical leads, operations, and sales teams.

  • Work closely with the product manager to relay client feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of solutions.

Client Follow-up & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct regular, proactive follow-ups with clients to ensure proper use of solutions.

  • Identify additional needs, improvement points, and support clients over the long term.

Travel approximately one week every 2–3 months.

Profile required

Your Profile

  • Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent, with a technical background in optics or complex systems.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing technical projects with direct client exposure.

  • Comfortable in innovative environments and eager to understand scientific topics.

  • Professional-level English, both written and spoken, including technical communication.
