Founded in 2013, Cailabs is the number one global specialist in laser shaping, tied to a unique, patented technology: Multi Plane Light Conversion (MPLC).

At Cailabs we design, manufacture and develop innovative photonic solutions for satellite communications, industrial applications (laser machining), fiber optic telecommunications and defense.

Since 2020, Cailabs has seen its growth accelerate in the field of optical ground stations/ free space optical communications and we are looking to expand our customer base across the U.S. government, commercial, and defense markets. Cailabs patented MPLC technology passively mitigates atmospheric turbulence to enable ultra-high-speed satellite to earth communications -an exciting technology with unlimited potential. Cailabs currently employs over 90 people, including 25 PhDs. with 26 patent families registered.

Would you like to play a key role in contributing to strategic topics for Cailabs while working in a multidisciplinary environment?

As a Product Strategy Associate– Space Communication, you will support the Chief Product Officer / Deputy CEO on her priority projects, particularly in the product strategy for our TILBA (laser communications) range.

Your role will include managing projects independently as well as performing support tasks.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Gathering inputs from all stakeholders on the product roadmap, writing synthesis notes, supporting the creation of the roadmap, and ensuring that the product roadmap meets the objectives and needs of the relevant stakeholders;
  • Conducting market, competitive, business, and technological trend analyses;
  • Identifying new technologies or application areas and exploring opportunities for product line evolution;
  • Identifying opportunities for relevant technical demonstrations and leading the implementation of these demonstrations with partners;
  • For subsidized development projects: acting as the interface between the funder and Cailabs and managing project reporting;
  • Leading campaigns for creating innovative marketing content and being a driving force for proposals;
  • Assisting in the preparation and drafting of reports for key company projects, such as the implementation of artificial intelligence tools, setting annual objectives, developing a new business plan, etc.

These tasks are not exhaustive and may evolve over time.

This position will allow you to develop a deep understanding of the company’s strategic issues and to progress toward roles with greater responsibilities within Cailabs (product manager, customer project manager, business developer...).

Profile required

 

With a Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics, you are motivated by the idea of joining an innovative environment with varied missions and responsibilities.

  • You work independently and can easily switch from one task to another.
  • You are an effective communicator, capable of being both clear and concise in your analyses and writing.
  • You are fluent in English.
