With a background from an engineering school specializing in optics, complemented by a PhD, you will become part of a dynamic team of engineers and PhDs who share your passion for tackling stimulating technical challenges.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will find a collaborative and intellectually engaging environment.
Your main missions will include:

Contributing to the experimental development of optical ground stations enabling satellite-to-ground optical communication links;

Operating experimental missions for demonstrations and partnerships;

Proposing technical solutions and ideas in response to challenges raised internally and/or by clients;

Identifying, evaluating, selecting, and managing new suppliers and service providers;
-
Performing tests and validating the performance of optical systems;
-
Providing and updating technical documentation (drawings, specifications, procedures, and design files) throughout development and industrialization phases;

Participating in multi-disciplinary projects in collaboration with different technical teams (electronics, mechanics, software).
Profile required
With a background from an engineering school specializing in optics, complemented by a PhD, you have 3 to 4 years of experience in academic research or R&D within an industrial environment.

Do you have experience in academic research or industrial R&D?

Do you have expertise in free-space optics?

Are you comfortable with hands-on optical setups and experimentation?

Do you have basic programming skills in Python, C, Matlab, or similar languages?
-
Are you able to communicate effectively about your technical projects in English, both written and spoken?

Are you capable of working both independently and as part of a team?
Bonus points:

Interest in system integration and interfacing;

Strong synthesis skills and a proactive attitude.
