Post description

As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the production workshop dedicated to the electronic assembly of Cailabs products, while ensuring the efficient management of operations to guarantee smooth day-to-day performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and motivate the workshop team by fostering a positive work environment that encourages engagement and trust, developing individual and collective skills, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Anticipate staffing and resource needs.
Manage workshop operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, traceability, safety, and on-time delivery commitments.
Drive and participate in the continuous improvement of assembly procedures, product quality, and traceability processes, while identifying and implementing corrective actions.
Organize and oversee work orders, including the creation and follow-up of Manufacturing Orders (MOs).
Contribute to the improvement of both assembly and organizational procedures to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.
Develop, monitor, and improve KPIs and reporting tools required to manage activity and drive performance improvements. Prepare and maintain associated documentation.
Ensure the proper operation of workshop equipment through maintenance planning and equipment fleet management, including inventory tracking and purchasing.
Ensure compliance with safety standards within production areas.
Analyze production activity and provide regular reporting.

Profile required

With a BTS (Higher National Diploma) or equivalent technical qualification, you have at least 3 years of significant experience in a similar position within a technical environment, where you have demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills.

You are particularly recognized for:

Your responsiveness and strong interpersonal skills.
Your solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of optics is considered a plus.
