Post description
As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the production workshop dedicated to the electronic assembly of Cailabs products, while ensuring the efficient management of operations to guarantee smooth day-to-day performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the workshop team by fostering a positive work environment that encourages engagement and trust, developing individual and collective skills, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Anticipate staffing and resource needs.
- Manage workshop operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, traceability, safety, and on-time delivery commitments.
- Drive and participate in the continuous improvement of assembly procedures, product quality, and traceability processes, while identifying and implementing corrective actions.
- Organize and oversee work orders, including the creation and follow-up of Manufacturing Orders (MOs).
- Contribute to the improvement of both assembly and organizational procedures to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.
- Develop, monitor, and improve KPIs and reporting tools required to manage activity and drive performance improvements. Prepare and maintain associated documentation.
- Ensure the proper operation of workshop equipment through maintenance planning and equipment fleet management, including inventory tracking and purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards within production areas.
- Analyze production activity and provide regular reporting.
