Would you like to apply and develop your micro-mechanics skills in the field of optics?

Would you like to contribute to the production of unique optics with very high added value?  

 

Then join the Operations department at Cailabs!

As part of this team and working closely with the Workshop Manager of the Cailabs microfabrication division, you will be responsible for implementing an entire production process and the associated metrology. At the same time, and depending on the company's activity, you will contribute to the optical systems assembly division.

 

Your main tasks will be to :

  • Operate a micrometric manufacturing machine in accordance with established procedures,
  • Carry out metrology on the parts manufactured by the machine,
  • Carry out tasks throughout the production chain (from receipt of raw parts, through to processing and dispatch of parts),
  • Contribute to process improvement,
  • Work in collaboration with the R&D Department.

 

Following an induction period, this position will require you to work staggered hours with your team (10.30am - 7pm).

Essential skills

You have a 2/3-year higher education qualification with a major in optics, micro-mechanics and/or watchmaking,
You are meticulous, rigorous and organised (the job requires good dexterity),
You are self-motivated and able to make suggestions,
Your interpersonal skills are an asset when it comes to working as part of a team with both the operations teams and the technical R&D teams.
