You are passionate about innovation and eager to apply your skills in managing bid responses and setting up collaborative projects, contributing to groundbreaking initiatives within a committed team.
Amid the strong growth of our markets—particularly in optical communications—we are strengthening our pre-sales team to meet the challenges brought by the increasing number and complexity of bids, whether European, national, or international.

Your mission: to structure, optimize, and lead bid responses and collaborative project proposals to effectively support Cailabs’ expansion in France and the United States.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Managing the response process for various calls for tenders and project proposals within the Product Division, from funding identification through offer submission to contract signature;

  • Coordinating contributions from internal teams (sales, product, technical, legal, and financial) as well as from external partners involved in the bid response;

  • Preparing the financial and budgetary elements of offers in collaboration with sales, product, and finance teams;

  • Ensuring compliance with schedules, tender specifications, and overall proposal quality;

  • Building strong consortiums in partnership with product and sales teams;

  • Conducting market intelligence to identify and monitor relevant calls for projects and funding programs within our business areas;

  • Contributing to the implementation of an agile and efficient bid response process, tailored to the demands of our current and future markets.

Profile required

You hold a general engineering degree and have at least 4 years of successful experience managing bid responses, either in a similar role or through a commercial position in an innovative and international industrial environment—ideally in defense, aeronautics, or the space industry.
You are familiar with public procurement regulations and European or institutional bidding frameworks (Horizon Europe, EDF, ESA, CNES).

You are recognized for:

  • Your teamwork skills and strong interpersonal abilities;

  • Your adaptability and organizational sense;

  • Your rigor in managing deadlines and operating within a demanding environment;

  • Your commitment to achieving results;

  • Your excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French.

Assets:

You have experience managing complex bids or project proposals with significant technical content, ideally within the space sector.
