As part of the ramp-up of our industrial activities, we are strengthening our teams and are recruiting a Versatile Production Operator.

Integrated within the Operations Department, you will be involved in the manufacturing, assembly, and inspection of high-precision optical sub-assemblies.
You will directly contribute to the quality and performance of our products in a demanding and innovative industrial environment.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting technicians in optical and electromechanical assemblies;

• Manufacturing fiber-optic equipment in compliance with quality and production schedule requirements;

• Performing fiber coiling within racks;

• Carrying out all fiber-optic splicing operations on sub-assemblies;

• Performing basic optical measurements using dedicated equipment in accordance with defined procedures;

• Assembling mechanical sub-assemblies (optical and electromechanical);

• Performing mechanical rework on non-conforming parts (drilling, tapping, cutting, etc.) and degreasing mechanical parts using ultrasonic baths;

• Participating in the disassembly of systems prior to delivery of optical ground stations;

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshops (e.g. organization, identification, and process optimization).

You may also be required to:

• Perform component lapping operations (training will be provided);

• Occasionally carry out dimensional quality inspections of mechanical parts.

Profile required

• Your previous experience has enabled you to develop a strong technical versatility.
• You have a hands-on profile and demonstrate a fast learning ability.
• Ideally (but not mandatory), you:

  • Have already performed SMF fiber-optic splicing;

  • Are able to read mechanical drawings

  • Have experience in metrology.

• You are a rigorous and detail-oriented person;
• You are eager to learn and adaptable;
• You are committed to complying with procedures and quality standards.
