The micro-fabrication division is responsible for producing unique, high–value-added optical components, which serve as key elements in Cailabs’ technologies.

To meet the nanometric precision requirements of these components, a state-of-the-art working environment has been established. Continuously improved and adapted to new needs, it enables us to achieve ever-higher levels of quality and reliability.

Within this environment, you will play a key role in the development, evolution, industrialization, and support of these processes and facilities.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming an expert in manufacturing and metrology tools and know-how;

  • Applying this expertise within the design office to optimize processes and ensure the proper fabrication of optical components;

  • Leading and contributing to the development of innovative manufacturing processes;

  • Providing support for complex manufacturing issues;

  • Participating in the transfer of processes from R&D to operations.

Profile required

  • You hold an engineering degree or a Ph.D;
  • You have knowledge and experience in optical fabrication, nanofabrication, or metrology;
  • You are comfortable with scientific computing and enjoy programming in general;
  • You are familiar with the Python programming language, Git version control, and collaborative coding best practices;
  • You are able to communicate effectively in both French and English, orally and in writing, on technical topics with your team;
  • You can propose concrete and innovative solutions to complex problems.

  • You have strong organizational skills and are capable of leading projects autonomously;

  • You have knowledge and mastery of ultra-high-precision manufacturing technologies.
