As an IVV Manager within the Technical Department, you will contribute to the development of new equipment for innovative technical projects such as space laser communications, optical communication systems, and advanced optoelectronic solutions.

You will be at the heart of innovation, responsible for creating and deploying the Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVV) strategy for systems while leading a team of 5 to 6 IVV engineers.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting your team in carrying out their tasks by providing technical and methodological expertise.
  • Defining verification and validation criteria, control benches for components and subsystems, and system integration procedures.
  • Supervising and actively participating in product integration, ensuring step-by-step that subsystems meet specified requirements.
  • Taking responsibility for testing and investigating technical issues in case of non-conformance and proposing solutions.
  • Acting as a liaison between different teams (optics, electronics, software, mechanics, etc.) to ensure shared understanding of objectives and constraints.
  • Contributing to requirement traceability throughout the V-Model process in close collaboration with the system architecture team.
  • Leading workshops and post-project reviews to identify continuous improvement opportunities and unite the team around best practices.

Essential skills

  • With a Master's degree (BAC +5) from an engineering school, you have proven experience in systems engineering, particularly in IVV, V&V, and AIT, gained in industrial environments.
  • Your broad technical knowledge, methodological approach, and ability to manage relationships involving multiple stakeholders and disciplines are your main assets.
  • You have demonstrated experience in team management, maintain a strong passion for technology, and can effectively interface with R&D, Operations, and external clients.
  • You possess strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills, allowing you to challenge and propose solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Curious and innovation-oriented, you are passionate about new technologies.
  • You are comfortable working in uncertain and complex environments.
  • A fluent level of English, both written and spoken, is required.
