To support our development, we are looking for an Industrial Project Engineer within the Operations Department. Your main mission will be to work on industrial projects related to the production and manufacturing of our optical ground stations, starting with the construction of a production site.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and managing industrial projects from initiation to closure, establishing schedules, budgets, and objectives.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and monitoring project progress, including tracking deadlines, costs, and quality, in compliance with current standards.
- Identifying and managing risks, contributing to the definition of corrective actions.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, both internally and externally, including clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of processes and project management methods within the company.
Essential skills
You have a generalist engineering background with knowledge in physics, ideally in optics.
You have a proven experience of three years or more in managing industrial projects in technological, standardized, constrained, and demanding industrial environments. Ideally, you are proficient in project management methodologies (Prince2, PMI, ...).
You are familiar with optimization and continuous improvement, and you have an understanding of the technical challenges faced by the company.
You are recognized for:
- Your ability to anticipate needs, manage priorities, identify critical points, and make proactive suggestions.
- Your ability to coordinate teams, communicate diplomatically, and facilitate debates and decision-making processes in interaction with external stakeholders.
- Your flexibility and agility in a constantly evolving environment.
- You are fluent in French and English.
