Job description

 

To support our growth, we are looking for a Building Project Manager within the project department of the operations division. Your main mission will be to oversee the construction of our future industrial manufacturing facility for OGS Stations in Rennes.

 

You will work closely with the Owner's Assistant (AMO) and the Owner's Execution Manager, serving as the point of contact for internal teams to ensure the project's progress.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising all stages of the factory construction, closely collaborating with the AMO and MOE, from site identification to project delivery, snagging, commissioning, and building maintenance.
  • Gathering internal requirements and technical specifications related to the manufacturing of optical solar stations and ensuring their integration into the project.
  • Ensuring project compliance with technical requirements and regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Planning activities, coordinating internal teams, and representing the company in external project meetings and follow-ups.
  • Managing the transfer process to the infrastructure teams and overseeing the internal team relocation.
  • Contributing to the search for external service providers, particularly those responsible for infrastructure maintenance.
  • Monitoring the budget, documenting estimates, consolidating and presenting budgetary alternatives internally.

 

Essential skills

You have a background in general engineering and an experience in managing construction projects in technologically advanced, regulated, constrained, and demanding industrial environments.

Ideally, you are proficient in project management methodologies such as Prince2, PMI, etc.

You are familiar with optimization and continuous improvement and have an understanding of the company's technical challenges.

You are recognized for:

  • Your ability to anticipate needs, manage priorities, identify critical points, and proactively propose solutions.
  • Your capacity to coordinate teams, communicate diplomatically, and effectively manage discussions and decision-making processes with external stakeholders.

Your flexibility and adaptability in an ever-evolving environment are notable.

Your are fluent in French.
