Job description

Are you passionate about innovation and eager to apply your skills in bid management to contribute to innovative projects?

 

In a context of increasing activity and the strengthening of Cailabs' position as a leader in its field, we are creating the role of Bid Manager to support the growth of our activities.

 

Reporting directly to the VP product management & partnerships, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing our responses to complex national and international bids in both the private and public sectors. Your role will involve coordinating a multidisciplinary team to develop compelling proposals in cutting-edge technological sectors, either as unique participant, coordinator or partner within a consortium.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

Managing the response process for various bids from the Product team, from funding identification to proposal submission.
Coordinating contributions from various internal teams from internal teams, including sales, product, technical, legal, and financial, as well as external partners.
Collaborating closely with external partners and subcontractors to build strong consortiums.
Preparing budgetary and financial responses in collaboration with the financial control team and participating in risk identification.
Defining the project timeline, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and managing the documentation associated with each bid or proposal.
Ensuring the coherence and quality of offers and proposals.
Identify or monitor relevant bids in our areas of activity and anticipating deadlines.
Establishing and maintaining direct contact with institutional and private organizations, isuch as BPI, DGA, CNES, ESA, the European Commission, as well as clients and industrial partners.
Participating in and representing Cailabs at national and international information meetings (e.g., PCN).

Essential skills

With a generalist engineering background, a first experience in bid responses within an innovative industrial sector is highly recommended.

  • Your proficiency in both written and spoken communication in English and French.

Additional assets:

  • Ideally, you have some understanding of system architecture through your education or experience.
  • Familiarity with the American bid system, especially in defense, would be advantageous for this position.
  • You are proficient in project management tools like MS Project.
