Would you like to put into practice and develop your skills in assembling components in the field of optics?
Would you like to contribute to the manufacture of our products based on Cailabs' core technology?
Then join the Cailabs Operations department!
Under the supervision of the workshop manager, you will take part in many stages of product assembly and make an active contribution to R&D projects in conjunction with the optical engineers.
Your main tasks will be to :
- Assemble and align innovative optical systems,
- Carry out system performance tests,
- Record the performance of systems/sub-systems and ensure their reliability,
- Resolve technical bottlenecks,
- Participate in drafting and updating procedures,
- Helping to define qualification processes for R&D projects (product robustness, in-chamber measurements, determining performance limits, etc.).
Profile required
- You hold a 2–3-year degree (BAC+2/3) in photonic systems or an equivalent level, ideally a professional bachelor’s degree in LIOVIS.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment and have worked on optomechanical systems.
- You have worked in close collaboration with engineers.
- You have experience in aligning and testing optical components.
- You have knowledge of UV bonding and free-space optics micro-positioning.
- You are meticulous, rigorous, and well-organized (the position requires good dexterity).
- You are proficient with computer tools.
- You are autonomous, proactive, and able to adapt to an evolving environment.
- Your interpersonal skills are an asset for teamwork, both with Operations teams and R&D Technical teams.
Bonus skills:
You have knowledge of electronics (soldering and ESD awareness).
