You are joining at a pivotal moment: a new operator activity is being structured and satellite operations are starting to scale.
Your role will be central to the creation of a Network Operations Center (NOC), which will become a key pillar in managing operational communications between ground stations and satellites.
At the heart of satellite operations deployment, you will contribute to the setup of a dedicated supervision center (NOC) responsible for coordinating and operating communications between ground stations and satellites.
Your mission is to design, structure and operate this center with a strong focus on reliability, coordination and scalability.
You will be involved in defining the operational tools, implementing procedures and overseeing the first satellite passes, in close collaboration with internal technical teams and operator clients.
The role involves a strong relational dimension, with daily interactions internally and externally.
Your Responsibilities
NOC Setup & Structuring
- Design the architecture of the Network Operations Center
- Define and implement the required software tools
- Establish operational monitoring and management procedures
Operational Coordination
- Prepare, coordinate and monitor satellite passes
- Ensure real-time operational supervision
- Guarantee communication continuity and service quality
Coordination & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with technical, deployment and maintenance teams
- Collaborate with operator clients and partners
- Anticipate scaling needs and adapt tools and processes accordingly
Service Continuity & Incident Management
- Contribute to incident management and resolution
- Coordinate communication between internal teams during operational arbitrations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operations framework
Profile required
Technical Skills
- Engineering degree with at least 3 years of experience in a NOC environment
- Telecom and/or satellite operator background strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IT, networking and software systems
- Hands-on operational experience in real-time supervision or operations
- Strong client communication and multi-stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to structure and organize a growing operational environment
