Post description
With the growth of our international projects, we are strengthening the team responsible for installing our high-technology systems worldwide.
Your role will be essential: you will make it possible to deploy complex technological systems on international sites that are often sensitive and strategic.
You will work on cutting-edge equipment combining optics, mechanics, electronics, and robotics, at the heart of concrete projects where every installation matters.
You will manage the full installation of our systems, from on-site activities to reporting, with direct involvement in continuous improvement and maintenance operations.
Mission Preparation
- Take over during the FAT at the factory.
- Conduct Site Surveys / Infrastructure Surveys.
- Train on the technical specificities of the systems.
- Challenge system maturity (Production, V&V, Technical) and suggest constructive improvements.
- Occasionally contribute to the integration of OGS systems and custom projects.
Deployment on Customer Sites
- Present the solution and support the customer, representing Cailabs on site.
- Train the end users.
- Manage logistics for the equipment (disassembly, packaging, transport, reception).
- Physically install the systems (mechanical, electronic, cabling).
- Perform tests and provide troubleshooting.
- Carry out the SAT and validate final acceptance on site.
Reporting & Knowledge Sharing
- Write intervention reports and appropriate documentation, especially for custom projects.
- Actively contribute to feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams: V&V, Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, Technical, Methods.
Travel Requirements
International trips of 3 to 6 weeks, estimated between 1 and 5 times per year.

- 1 International Installation Engineer
- 1 International Installation Engineer (US passport required)
- 1 International Installation & Maintenance Engineer
For corrective maintenance missions: more frequent and less scheduled trips.
Profile required
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a demanding industrial environment.
- Expertise in one of the following fields: Networks / Programming, Optics – Lasers – Microscopy, Automation, Robotics / AI, Mechanics / Construction, Industrial Maintenance, Medical, RF – SatCom – Radar, Electronics.
- Hands-on field experience in roles such as Field Service Engineer, Customer Support Engineer, Field Engineer, International Support, etc.
Soft Skills
- Interest in international missions.
- Ability to work with technology that is still evolving in maturity.
- Advanced level of English.
- Rigorous, calm, team-oriented, good communicator, autonomous and adaptable.
Interests : Motivation for international missions and on-site work, interest in complex technical projects.
