The products in the CANUNDA range are innovative beam shaping systems designed to optimize laser machining processes such as welding, additive manufacturing, drilling, and surface texturing.
The CANUNDA R&D team is multidisciplinary, bringing together diverse expertise in optics, mechanics, electronics, methods, and systems. The team is dedicated to developing prototypes and products at various stages of technological maturity.
You will join this team, and in this context, your missions will include:
- Designing, assembling, and testing innovative prototypes to meet the specific needs of our clients.
- Developing new features for products in the CANUNDA range.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the CANUNDA product range, in collaboration with production teams.
- Installing and testing prototypes and new products at client and partner sites.
Profile required
You have a strong theoretical and experimental background in optics.
You have at least 3 years of experience in experimental optics, including the design and setup of free-space test benches, the development of optical technologies, and the analysis of experimental data.
You have practical experience in numerical programming and/or using optical design software.
You are autonomous, capable of identifying problems and finding solutions, sometimes under time constraints.
You can work effectively in a multidisciplinary team (optics, mechanics, electronics, methods, systems, etc.).
You are proficient in both written and spoken French and English, enabling you to communicate with colleagues and external partners.
Additional assets:
- Experience in managing thermal issues with high-power lasers.
- Expertise in laser machining processes.
- Experience in the industrialization of innovative products.
- Strong synthesis and analytical skills.
