As a Methods Technician, reporting to the Head of Methods and working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment, your role will be to contribute to the industrialization of our products and optimize production processes.

 

Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Contributing to the definition and management of the industrial documentation for our products (Bill of Materials / routings / procedures) within our ERP system,

  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing and testing procedures/work instructions for production teams, in close collaboration with the Development, Operations, and Quality teams,

  • Contributing to workshop ergonomics and productivity improvements by proposing process and equipment enhancement solutions,

  • Designing production tooling using CAD and overseeing their implementation,

  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile required

You hold a 2-year technical degree (Associate degree or equivalent) with a focus on mechanics and/or optics, and you have 2 to 5 years of experience in a methods role within an industrial environment.

 

  • You are able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics,

  • You are known for your strong interpersonal skills and curiosity,

  • You have strong analytical and writing skills,

  • You are detail-oriented and rigorous in your work,

  • You are proactive, well-organized, and have good time management skills,

  • You have experience working with an ERP system (BOMs, routings, etc.).

Nice to have :

  • Knowledge of optics,

  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office suite),

  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks),

  • Professional English proficiency.
