Are you passionate about developing innovative products and eager to contribute to the strategy and marketing of cutting-edge solutions? Join our Products & Partnerships team as an Assistant Product Manager and help develop the CANUNDA range, dedicated to laser processing applications.
Reporting to a Product Line Manager (PLM), you will provide essential support by strengthening the product strategy, actively participating in development, and implementing marketing initiatives for this technological range.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Executing the product strategy defined by the Product Line Manager:
- Monitoring internal developments
- Managing subsidized projects with the technical team
- Developing new subsidized projects with the bid manager
- Monitoring process trials with partners (clients, R&D centers, academic institutions, etc.)
- Participating in technical support for client project cost estimation:
- Occasionally participating in teleconferences with clients during the cost estimation phase
- Developing tools to automate technical sales support (calculators, etc.)
- Product Launch and Marketing:
- Launch strategy: Planning and executing product launches.
- Marketing support: Working with marketing to create promotional materials and strategies.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Market studies: Conducting research to understand customer needs and market trends.
- Competitive analysis: Monitoring competitors and analyzing their offerings.
Travel within Europe for 1 to 2 days is expected (~1 trip per month).
Essential skills
- With a background in optical engineering, you already have professional experience, ideally in the field of photonics.
- You are known for your proactivity and strong interpersonal skills.
- You are an optimistic person who enjoys teamwork.
- You are fluent in English.
Bonus points:
- Proficiency in German
- Knowledge of product management
- Knowledge of laser processing
